  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam, warmed (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk melted butter with granulated sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; mix until smooth. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined. Spread the batter into the prepared pan.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese with sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over brownie batter.
  4. Bake for 30–35 minutes until edges are set. Allow cooling completely.
  5. Top with sliced strawberries and brush with warmed strawberry jam for glaze.
  6. Chill for at least 1 hour before slicing into squares.
