  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1½ cups pure pumpkin puree
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×4" or 9×5" loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and granulated sugar until well combined (about two minutes).
  3. Add pumpkin puree, Greek yogurt, eggs, cinnamon, baking powder, vanilla extract, baking soda, salt, ground ginger, and nutmeg. Whisk until thoroughly mixed.
  4. Gradually stir in flour until just combined; be careful not to overmix. Gently fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50–70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean or with moist crumbs.
