  • 6 tbsp cold unsalted butter (cubed)
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk (for biscuits)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 12 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar (optional)
  • Pinch of salt (for hot honey sauce)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Combine 1 cup flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl; dredge marinated chicken in this mixture.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet; fry chicken until golden brown on both sides (6-8 minutes per side).
  4. For biscuits, mix 2 cups flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; blend in cold butter until crumbly.
  5. Stir in 3/4 cup buttermilk; roll out dough to 1-inch thickness and cut into circles.
  6. Bake biscuits on parchment-lined sheet at 425°F for 15-20 minutes.
  7. For hot honey sauce, heat honey with red pepper flakes and apple cider vinegar until warmed through.
