  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, stems removed
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 4 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, grated

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Halve the Brussels sprouts and place on a baking sheet. Drizzle with avocado oil, season with salt and pepper, and toss well.
  3. Roast in the oven for 18–20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  4. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine olive oil, honey, balsamic vinegar, and grated garlic. Whisk together until blended and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Once the sprouts are done roasting, remove from the oven and toss them in the balsamic sauce until evenly coated. Serve hot.
