  • ¼ cup milk
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (melted, for coating)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF (175ºC) and prepare the donut pan with non-stick spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vegetable oil, and milk.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, spices, salt, and mix well.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Fill each cavity of the donut pan with batter using a piping bag or ziplock bag.
  6. Bake for 15–16 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool the donuts in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.
  8. Dip cooled donuts in melted butter and then coat them in a mixture of granulated sugar and cinnamon.
