  • 24 pound chuck roast
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 8 pepperoncini peppers
  • 1/4 cup pepperoncini juice (optional)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Place the chuck roast in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Sprinkle ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the roast evenly.
  3. Add pepperoncini peppers around the roast and pour in the pepper juice if using.
  4. Top the roast with unsalted butter.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours until tender.
  6. Shred the roast with two forks and serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
