  • 375 grams ground turkey or beef
  • 1 small onion (finely diced)
  • 2½ cups marinara sauce
  • 9 lasagna noodles (not oven-ready)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 tablespoons shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground turkey or beef along with the diced onion until fully cooked.
  2. Stir in marinara sauce and season with oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Lightly grease your slow cooker and spread a small amount of sauce on the bottom.
  4. Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce, then top with 1/3 of the meat mixture followed by 1/3 of both mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Repeat for two more layers.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 2.5-3 hours until noodles are tender.
  6. Allow to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
