  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In one bowl, beat the eggs. In another bowl, mix flour and cornstarch.
  3. Dip each chicken piece in the egg, then coat in the flour-cornstarch mixture.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Fry chicken until golden brown and crispy on all sides.
  5. In a saucepan, combine honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and sesame oil over medium heat. Stir well and thicken with cornstarch mixed with water.
  6. Toss fried chicken in the sauce until fully coated.
