  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg + 1 egg yolk
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 and 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C) and prepare a 9-inch pie dish or round cake pan with nonstick spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and brown sugar until creamy. Add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla; mix until combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt. Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into wet ingredients until mixed. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Spread dough evenly in the prepared pan and bake for 22–26 minutes until lightly golden.
